Oxygen Sensors Test & Replacement Melbourne

The purpose of an oxygen sensor is to detect and measure the amount of oxygen that is being expelled into the exhaust gas. It then sends this information to the engine management computer.

The computer needs this information to automatically adjust the air/fuel mixtures to the correct level to ensure that the vehicle does not run too rich or too lean. The oxygen sensor is located in the exhaust system of the engine.

An oxygen sensor usually needs replacing from 100,000kms to 150,000kms depending on the make & model of vehicle.

Our Brunswick & Knoxfield workshops can perform Oxygen Sensor Tests & offer Oxygen Sensors Replacement when online.
